Virtual Talk

Details

Come with us for a virtual talk as Design B&B pulls back the curtain on their year-long journey to rebrand the historic Auditorium Theater of Chicago.

The largest theater in our city — hosting everything from baseball games to legends like Prince over its 135-year history — The Auditorium is a renowned architectural feat by Dankmar Adler & Louis Sullivan, and rebranding it was no small act.

This talk features Design B&B’s Principal Valerie Aurilio, Creative Director Parker Sheley, and Senior Designer Zach Bird, as they pull back the curtain on their recent rebranding of The Auditorium theatre. They will walk us through their process in three acts — from immersive visits to the theater, to winning over the board of directors, to sprinting toward the big launch.

This will focus on the following topics:

  1. The power of a big idea and how to create one
  2. Tactics for winning over stakeholders
  3. Some cool facts about one of Chicago’s most historic destinations

The virtual talk will allow time for a Q&A with the team at Design B&B.
