Our latest initiative is to build a directory of design studios in the Chicagoland area as a way of amplifying and promoting creative practices and disciplines.
I often get the question from students and community members: “What design studios should I know about?” My answers always default to studios I like and studios that the Chicago Graphic Design Club has collaborated with in the past. But I know very well that Chicago is a city full of creative practices and studios.
This directory will be managed by the Chicago Graphic Design Club and highlight studios of different sizes, services, mediums, and more. We expect to launch in late Spring/early Summer.
