Typespace • AR-First Variable Typeface

Details

We’re thrilled to welcome Brooklyn-based designer, artist, researcher and creative technologist, Rajshree Saraf

She discusses her approach to AR (augmented reality), what it means to rethink the fundamentals of design for a brand new media, the evolution of publication design and typography for AR and some best practices for designers.

And she introduces Typespace, the first variable typeface explicitly made for AR. Typespace is also an app where designers can make AR type posters in minutes anywhere without going through the 3dModelling-coding pipeline.
